“I planned a backyard wedding and was immediately drawn to Britt’s style when I was looking for photographers. I wanted photos that conveyed the nostalgia and sentimentality of hosting a wedding in my parents’ backyard, and that were shot in a relaxed, documentary style. Everything I was looking for was reflected in Britt’s portfolio, and she has done many backyard weddings, which made me feel very comfortable hiring her. As I looked through the different weddings Britt shot, her pictures evoked so much emotion, even though these other couples were strangers to me. I couldn’t imagine how it would feel to have my own wedding photos taken by her. Now that we received our gallery, the first word that comes to mind is “breathtaking.” She did such incredible work.
